whooo it's the Ever popular IE, in fact I can bet

exactly what this page is open in on your computer right now..and it's about to
tell you it's not-responding or it can't load my page b/c I talks* bad about it
lol.
For years I was an IE user, and I had all the usual stuff an
IE user has, perodic crashes, constant bugging to use windows update, software
installing without my permission, and then the last straw for me was...Java not
working because they stopped packaging the java engine with an IE download and
install. Me an Xbox lover, Microsoft plugging, Mac'ist' (the computer racist).
acutally turning my back on IE? that's right u got it. give yourself a sticker.
Now i'm not saying ohh Bad explorer, go to your room without dinner...well
acutally I am because overall it Sucks. One thing on the plus side for IE right
now, is that they have Finally added tabbed browsing which means, no more having
73 windows open, just one Window on ur Explorer tool bar and multiple tabs, much
more convenient and your computer runs better with tabs....still sucks.
I still have the install program for v.6.028 of it incase one of my non-computer
savy friends is having problems with theirs, and in fact I still have it on my
computer in the rare chance I may need it for some reason, so I'm not saying
delete it from your life, but consider exploring your options on this one.
After having so many problems, hearing complaints, and it being extremely slow
at times, i changed......
To Firefox
(ohhh yea it gets the pretty colors, yea I discriminate against browsers, so sue
me)oh
yes, it's the Sexy firefox, go ahead...applaud, u know u want to
Well this is my current Internet browser, in fact it's the one i'm using to post
this blog right this minute. It's the best i've found, the best i've
tired,..it's just the Best, get over it.
Firefox is a completely free Internet browser, it's also an open source program,
so this means a few things, 1) You can edit your firefox however u want it,
making it faster, or change how it responds to things 2) everyday people can
improve it and send it to the makers of firefox, meaning that it will republish
All the time, keeping it more current then your IE.
Tabbed browsing you ask? that was around way before Microsoft thought about it,
it's awesome, beyond that? Totally customizable.
I took a few minutes right after I got it and edited a few values (btw yea i'm
computer savy but if you can read, double click, and follow about 6 instructions
you can do it no matter your level of expertise) Now my firefox is Faster than
IE, pages load faster and more efficient.
totally customizable is what i said right? well there's more, you have diff.
themes for firefox that are easy to use, unlike themes for IE, so you can change
your theme to fit your computers theme if you want, I even have a Pimpzilla
theme that gives it fur and diamond icons...dont' ask lol. In fact I might do a
post later called Pimp My Browser...we'll see. Beyond that, you have extenions
for it, like you remember the whole Terri Shiavo thing? I monitored her status
in the loading bar on firefox, yea that's strange u say, i'm just giving an
example of the range, i check my weather by looking in my right hand corner of
my browser, even the current terror threat level...which is yellow by the way.
I'll list a few more and move on I have a dictionary made into my browser, a
download manager made into it, as well as many other options.
If you go to a page and don't have the right plugin or video player to run it,
Fire fox tells you at the top and u click, and it downloads it for you, no more
searching like you do with IE. Oh yea did I mention firefox comes with a built
in pop-up blocker? oh yea, and no spyware or adware attached to it like
stopzilla.
Now according to some research done by various companies and organizations say
that fire fox is Great but maybe not the best for a PC for example:
This Site Right here
found thru their various tests that Opera was optimized for Windows, while
Firefox and Mozilla were optimized for Linux, this however is without any person
adjustments being made. So as you can see you have many choices, so unless
you're a person that's 35, lives with their mom, and has only had online
dates...take a risk, it won't hurt, and try a new one each week, if you don't
like em, just get rid of them.
Here are two sites discussing the browser wars:
Forbes...browser
Browser wars?
Well that's my take on Internet browsers....now onto Operating systems
*yea that typo that says "I talks" i know it's there but i left it b/c i liked
it...and to think you believed you found that major of a typo lol, and I bet you
were going to leave a comment on it too.
